I love Pete air up and down windows all the way open or all the way closed there's really no in between. I've had them before but the ones on this truck are awful.

It didn't take long for the new breed to jump in with all that CARB and elog crap did it ??

It just kills them we don't all drive under powered auto shift fleet dogs running 65mph..

Good luck with the build, be sure to post pics along the way, looking forward to watching your progress..

Well I hope to get working on It this winter. I have a farm to take care of and I'm just about at wits end with the John Deere dealer, yeah yeah I know you CIH guys say should have bought IH. Trying to get all my ducks in a row and it ain't easy.

Im im just saying I wish I could afford to run a 3408 in a w900A aerodyne or 359exhd with a st and up sleeper.

    7-UP Thanks this.

The green and yellow isn't what it used to be, service anywhere is a head ache.

A 3408 would be pretty cool in either of those trucks !

The green and yellow units I hauled a few years ago were mostly plastic..

Not like what my grandfather farmed with when I was growing up thats for sure.

I grew up with numbered 4020's we had so many they were numbered mine was 7. Then I got the 4230 when it was new to the farm had a qaud range with a loader and a cab that had a radio heat and AC and I thought I was big timing then the 4840 came home with a 8970 and I hose the 8970 I ran it until I left and went to diesel school and I took the 4840 up there second semester and we made it hot and I mean it would do the wok of a 4960 if you could hang enough weight on it but I got alittle over zealous with it and melted it down one night in te bottoms she was doing real good and then you hear waaaaaaa hhhhhmmmmmmm I looked at the pyro a it was reading 1300.... The only old Iron I got left is a 4020 4320 4555 4960 an A with trip bucket that's been parked probably 30 years and a Farmall M I bought to pull a hay baler.

Twin stick. You're right about the ultra cab and radio being way to high but I been in mine for over 12 years and found out I just need a radio with a remote and I'm back to relaxing again. I put a new fm in every 3 or so years and make that a mandatory option. Its definitely worth having
