Thinking this is probably the best spot for this. I've been kicking around a few ideas as to what to do with the tail frame on my truck build. So far I think a low and shallow RGN ramp would look pretty sick compared to what most OTR trucks use. Anyone have any advice on how to go about fabricating some ramps?

Well I wanted to use wood but I couldn't figure out a way to nail the boards to the frame :laughing-guffaw:

Heres how a friend of mine done his on his old 359, its ok for local stuff around the farm and such. I didnt like welding to the frame though. No big deal on an old back up truck i guess.....i built bolt ons mostly from some scrap steel laying around. 0923160952.jpg 0911161423_HDR.jpg 0911161422a.jpg 0925161528.jpg 0924161356a.jpg 0926161119a.jpg

You have to get a large Powder-Actuated nail gun, and nails rated for the thickness steel of your frame.
Check with a large steel frame building construction supplier, they can point you wrong! Lol

    Looks good.

I should mention I'm wanting to incorporate a 2" or 2.5" receiver hitch into the back so I'd need to bring the ramps down to about mid diff height or lower.
