    Thanks guys! I'm on my way home. Stopped for a burger and taking it easy. Its a funny feeling knowing I don't have to drive back in 4 or 5 days.....but I'll get used to it!

    Well my first full week of retirement is overwith. Went to church on Sunday, grocery shopping with the wife and a solo trip to Lowes. Grand total of 11 miles for the week! Not too bad but I can find a better shortcut or two to whittle that down to a more manageable amount..... :) Goin to Roanoke VA on Saturday for Christmas with the Grandkids, Great Grandkids and might say hello to their parents as well.....its 180 miles one way. Better rest up and so some serioud trip planning before we head out!!

    Now that makes me feel that I am not alone being retired. Isn't it wonderful? We are now in California, Md. visiting the daughter for the holidays and return back to Florida after the 1st and hopefully warmer weather. Happy Holidays Bumper and enjoy.

    Well the cold weather has hit. Was 40 degrees last night when we went to bed. Its 8 degrees now and falling....and snowing.....will have to see how it is tomorrow here and in Virginia.
