Ah yes, there would be a difference. So I take it the "bunge" cord is for the fuel nozzel securement then?

I'm thinking it might not be a coincidence that this thread was right above the 'Gay Friendly' thread in the search results! :biggrin_25523:

Gay truckers do use secret signals to identify each other. The bunge thing might be one of them. (200 drivers read this and quietly remove hanging bungee's from steps). :)

I keep one lengthwise with my step to hold my fuel handle in place so I can do paperwork and such as my truck is fueling up....

I keep them on my steps to hold down the fuel nozzle, at $4.20+ per gallon, I cant afford to have it fall out while refueling.

I have one running lengthwise on both sides of my truck...very simple purpose - to hold the fuel handle in place while fueling. For me it's a peace of mind thing. Strapping the nozzle down allows me to walk around the truck, get in and out, etc., without having to worry about the nozzle falling out and spraying 10 gallons of fuel all over the lot. Plain and simple.

As for the guys that leave em hanging and touching the road...I'm betting they are the same guys that have their CB antenna's pointed at a 45 degree angle (bull horns)...you know, the good ole SUPERTRUCKERS! :biggrin_25514:

"CB antenna's pointed at a 45 degree angle"

I don't understand why anyone would do that, after spending hundreds of dollars to get the best equipment, they reduce their radios capability by 50%
