I have yet to see anyone ask if there is a weight limit for the top bunk? It's a serious question, some of us larger folks that will be heading out with a trainer need to know this info, I don't believe that to many trainers would want to give up the bottom bed. :biggrin_2556:
Any comments or opinions would be great, Thanks in advance

No idea, but when the truck is moving, only the bottom bunk should be used,,,

I dont know how your training will play out........but after my trainer was comfy with my driving, I spent little or no time in that top bunk, as the truck was rolling most of the time.

    spinner2jammer Thanks this.

If you're a big guy and the trainer isnt hes more than likely gonna let ya have the bottom bunk, cause he isnt gonna want to get smooshed in the middle of the night. As far as the trucks rolling constant once a driver gets comfortable with there students driving, it should only be done if the student is someone with previous experience. If its a new student that has never driven before that trainer should never leave that jump seat. but thats already been said in another thread.

I know a 350 lb. guy that uses the top bunk with no problems (naturally, when not moving). They are quite strong.

There must be a built in hoist to get him up there.
