I'd like a nice F-550 or Ram 5500 service truck. Getting bored sitting around and its only been 3 days.

I gotta say even if they almost gave me those plastic trucks with emission Krap I still wouldn't want it.

I betcha a lot of the higher milage trucks will go for scrap value at one point.

Yeah yeah yeah. 99% of trucking companies and all virtually all new ventures buy newer trucks. Older guys and O/O's buy Petes and KW's. Only makes sense.

Real men drive Volvos that aren't white. :D

Out on the road you see 10-30% old hood trucks. Most are pretty tired and nothing special. FLDs, T600s, IH 9400s old volvos and macks, etc, just 1980s to 90s work rigs. The percentage of junky old hood trucks on that lot when i zoom in is zero. Should it not be proportional?

There are tons of nothing special old trucks out there for sale, but they go on truckpaper where the owner is saying i wont take less than X amount for it.

The auction is where you say "i will take whatever they offer i just want it gone by the end of the month."

'Get that junk out of my yard' SHOULD refer to old junk. But that picture obviously shows us its new junk being disposed of in large quantity and old junk being clung to. IMHO.

yep...lets all get a $2300 a month truck payment on equipment that a driver cant repair himself that WILL have a major engine breakdown before 600k miles all so I can go into ONE state...where do I sign up?

I like my old truck. its reliable, cheap to operate and repair, and assures me that I only work 7-8 months out of the year. 2018, we went for 2 weeks to Italy, 2019 did 2 weeks in the Bahamas. This year we were planning Scotland/Ireland, but , you know....Covid
Glad I don't have to worry bout making my payments....I'm too old for this crap

Most of that ####'s gonna go pennies on the dollar. The average person doesn't have 2 nickles to rub together and owes a fortune on everything. The odd few people with some expendable cash are going to walk away with some good deals.
