Bust is sooner than you think....

I guess we should all stop making money while we can then....

 

All the old hands I've spoken to tell me that you'll never see the bust coming. That's why I've been really hesitant to buy property here. All we can do is ride the wave until it's gone.

 

It all depends on if you're blowing your money on toys or saving it...

 

In 1905 they predicted we would be out of oil in 10 years. It's 2013 now..

 

hmmm didnt see a mention of the Permian Basin....any mention of them in a diff article???

 

Yeah I remember in grade school we were supposed to run out by the mid 80's too....oh yeah, the "experts" predicted we'd be in another ice age too along with overpopulating, running out of water, air, and food.

I ignore the "experts" because they are all so sure until someone innovative comes along and changes the game....the experts make their money on the sky is falling hype and not innovation.

 

it could be bust tommorrow for all anyone knows. oil is a volatile market. if you don't think that all new drilling activity couldn't shut down tomorrow you are kidding yourself, at the same time though it could go on another 100 years.

 

All the hospital beds were supposed to be filled with dying AIDS patients.

 

That was in the 80's that they predicted that two thirds of the nation would die of Aids...

When I was in grade school they never heard of Aids.
