I know exactly what's going on. And it's basically what you just repeated.
All he got was a csa. Absolutely nothing to do with his MVR.
He got the exact same situation i got in elko nevada. Only i argued with teh cop and told him i'd fight it in court. So instead of getting a ticket. I got a mark on my CSA. for speed warning. It's over 3 years now so it's a done deal. -
https://www.thebalance.com/what-do-csa-point-values-mean-to-me-1361543
Look up how many points each ticket is worth. Then multiple each ticket by 3 because the first year of a ticket is x3, 2nd year is x2, 3rd year is the normal point value.
If you have two 7 point CSA tickets you'll now have 42 csa points. You'll have a hard time getting a job when your points go to 70 and above.
Fight the tickets because the next time you get a warning you'll wish you had gotten the ticket in order to fight for the points.
What's the money matter if you cannot get a job?
Forget all the Dudley Do Rights on this forum that work 8.75 hours a day, Seven days a week, telling you that you're guilty just pay the fine.
Truck drivers are nothing but meal tickets for the gas stations we stop at, the police that pull us over, and the states that charge us tolls.
Protect your license.Rusty Trawler, bottomdumpin and bbechtel16 Thank this. -
I forgot don't forget about the csa points for your warning on speed.
He might of made you unemployable because you wanted a hot meal and a shower.bbechtel16 Thanks this. -
I didn't read this whole thread but I'm pretty sure they can't write you a second ticket for the same offense.

If you can get the officer to say he pulled you over for speeding, AND you can prove that the speed he claims you were traveling is impossible, you might be able to get the whole thing thrown out. If this happened in Indiana I think it would be more of a slam dunk because they require probable cause to pull over a CMV randomly. But if successful you will still have to file a data queue challenge for the speeding which will go right back to the same PD.

I got pulled over in indiana. On some road heading south to indianapolis. For no reason at all other then to see my logbook. ( computer ).
Logbook violations are 30 points. My first 2 disappear on new years eve. One of them was a non oos. Onboard requirement not met. Apparently he felt my laptop should be tied into the truck.not4hire and Skate-Board Thank this. -
