I've got 2 different log violations. oos. Both were 30 points. The non oos I'd have to check but I think it was good for 30 also.
But here's a question. some of you say 70 and some of you say 100. Before you have company problems. In which score would that be? Because while it's 12,24,36 months for the driver. It's 6,12,24 months for the company. So the only time the points match are the first 6 months.

He just got log book violations. And sounds like the fines are cheap. He can't fight his csa and his license isn't affected so just pay the fines and chalk it up as lesson learned.

Well, Kevin, live and learn, I guess. I believe that CDL holders have given tacit consent to random searches, it's part of the agreement? I know LEO's need reasonable cause for civilian drivers, but with CMV's they're allowed random stops. Happens all the time.
I don't know any drivers who haven't exceed one of their clocks, 8hr clock, 14hr clock, 11hr clock, whatever. It's the hard luck of getting caught that's happened to you. If you ran over another 100 times you might never have another hassle. Sorry Kevin. Just move on, put it behind you, I guess.rank and bbechtel16 Thank this.
