I tried synthetic weed many years ago. Landed in the emergency room via ambulance thinking my heart was going to explode, among other things. It was just a very severe panic attack, but it is the scariest thing I've been through, more so than waking up on pavement after being hit by a car with two bones sticking out of my arm even. The experience was traumatic enough to give me a panic disorder for several years after, but I'm good now.

 

As a paramedic responding to such life and death calls, I did my best to stabilize patients such as yourself. This typically involved establishing I.V. access with the needle at the left of the picture.
