What's new at Butler these days? Saw a few new Cascadias and they sure look nice. Is Ace still there? Any news on new equipment? Pay ever go up! Or is it still 32 base and so on and so on? Thanks for any and all info!

Still looking for any news on this company? Seems like they keep their drivers running pretty well and their equipment always looks good.

I was with Butler for a bit more than a year before moving over to Houg. They were okay but 32 cpm to start, inconsistent miles and no heath insurance for the first 6 months.

Thanks for the comeback! That 32 is a killer if you ask me and I know another who had drove there also and was somewhat content but for their having to lose your truck if you take off more than 3 days in a row. That's tough one there! I talked to Ace on the phone a few years back and he hung up on me,real attitude adjustment needed by that guy for sure. Also no detention pay if rediculous if you ask me but that's just my two cents. Good day!

They claim 34 but the other 2 cents is tied to a mileage bonus so you know how that goes. Lol

I would say that 32 cents a mile runing solo sounds far better than 14 cents a mile running teams.
I have been approved to go to work for them in Sept, but I preffered at this time to stay with my local dump trailer job where I can go home every day.
Now if work does dry up in the demo business as it has I will probably be giving Butler a shot. I just wish that had more loads going west.

That was a major complaint I had with them as well but I saw a Butler at the TA in Barstow yesterday and 4 more heading westbound on I-40 today in AZ and NM so maybe they picked up some new customers going down to SoCal.
