People out there now would not be able to afford the prices at a "real' truckstop... You wouldnt be getting a $15 meal for $2.99 LOL

The "good old days" wouldn't have been near as good if this new bunch of 9-5 truckers had been there. Back in the old days if a guy broke down, he'd have 15 trucks on the shoulder and in the ditches and every driver dragging his toolbox out. Nowadays if you break down, these new breed ########### won't even move over when they blow by. They're in too big a hurry to get that front row spot at the Pilot.

True that....The sweats and flip flop 500 pounder crowd are too busy makin' sure they don't run any more than 500 miles a day so they earn just enough money to keep them well supplied with little chocolate donuts and hot dogs and soda pop and get parked in the front row by 3:00 PM so they don't have to walk so far to restock the junk food supply. They can't be bothered with trying to make enough money to actually live on.

    That aint no ####!:biggrin_2559:

The reason Loves are popping up everywhere is because drivers with low standards will do business with a company that never washes a urinal. They are the stinkingnest place I ever been.

There are terrible temptations which it requires strength and courage to yield to.

You can buy a 12v coffee maker or use a regular drip machine with an inverter and make your own coffee too. If you are on a budget, the Walmart branded coffees are very good for the money...

doesnt it take a BIG inverter to run a coffee pot or a hot plate, something with a solid coil. We had a 1500watt rms and it wouldnt brew a pot when we used to go camping.
