What type of truck and engine. There are certain things too look out for with each brand.

Well then buy the cheapest one they will accept. This makes no seance. A warentee is for up to 2 years, but I;m guessing your financing the truck longer then 2 years.

An ISX with that many miles on it. Might be a lot of money going to repairs soon.

I didn't know speed co could do an oil sample.really? What does it cost? And how long? That's a great idea.

Did you get an ECM report when you had inspected? How is the lifetime fuel mileage? Idle time on engine?

All after market warrants are jokes they don't make money when you make claims. Good friend of mine had a injector go bad yes they paid for that but didn't pay for the valve cover gasket and even charged him the labor to change it like that's all they did

I was in Speedco on Thursday getting a PM and I think I saw $17 on the menu and they do the analysis right there (I saw the menu price but did not have it done). For what it's worth, I've seen some negative remarks about their service from a few of the folks doing extended oil changes with bypass filters. As-in, Speedco being in the oil changing business might not have the most integrity with oil sampling results. Probably better than nothing at any rate.

I was thinking it was $17.99 also and they do it as you wait the problem I see is I've never seen them clean the machine after they do a oil sample therefor contaminateing your sample
