The N14 is the continuation of the small cam/big cam engines that have been around since the 70s.

It’s a tried and true configuration, the N14 is just the electronic version of the small cam/big cam.

The only reason they stop production on it, was because it could not meet the emission standards for the next generation – that’s why they continued with the ISX and now X 15.

So if you can find one in the truck, hold onto it because it will treat you right.
