Hi, I’m wanting to buy a 2021 Cascadia that has been involved in a Front end accident. Its still a clean title bur had bumper and radiator damage. Is there anything that would be concerning?

You need to pay a seasoned tech to go inspect the truck and the detailed accident work order, with you. They’ll know what they are looking at.
Many times, crashed trucks get repaired and not everything gets fixed. Stuff gets overlooked, accidentally and intentionally. You don’t want to be a year down the road, still fixing things that should’ve been caught when the truck was originally repaired.
I’d seriously question why the truck is being sold, given it’s so new. There has to be a reason, because people/businesses don’t just up and sell a truck like this.AlexR_uz, Phoenix Heavy Haul, Siinman and 1 other person Thank this. -

Trucks probably fine if it’s already been fixed and ran a bit. I wouldn’t hesitate if the price is right. As long as the frames not bent, and the steering components are good. A new radiator, cac , a/c condenser hood and bumper on any Truck at one time or another is very common. Someone backs into it, or you hit a deer. New parts like that would be a plus on an older Truck. Have it inspected by a mechanic for peace of mind.

I was issued a company truck that’d previously been in an accident. There was a myriad of things cobbled together, so they could get it back on the road. Unfortunately, I was the one who got stuck with it. The worst was an improperly repaired A/C system that lasted 2 days, in mid-June. After 11 days without A/C, the result was a standoff with operations, where I simply told them it’ll be fixed in ATL or their truck would be sitting there without a driver. This was my first and second weeks with this company. My next week ended being a couple more situations where I was the sacrificial lamb, for other drivers. At the end of three weeks, I walked. They’re supposedly a reputable company, per this forum. But, I refuse to be someone’s #####.Last edited: Jan 18, 2023

I’m a smoker myself. It’s definitely going to take value off my Truck if I ever sell. Ozone generator is supposed to work good. They can be rented. Follow all precautions. Need to air it out before breathing any of it. A good heavy dose shocking, I hear works. You don’t want to leave them running for days on end, they will cause plastic and fabric to deteriorate eventually. There’s plenty for sale. Prices and quality vary. Some are a ripoff. Ones that actually work aren’t cheap. Used to be a Guy near me that advertised them online. They were bare bone units. Nothing fancy, no sleek box cabinet. Just the guts bolted to a wooden board, but supposedly work well, and very affordable. I’ve heard of used Car Dealers using them. Google ozone generator. See what you think.
