I had a tour at St Catherines Freightliner back in April when I was down for TruckWorld. They do pretty nice work on their builds.

Why is there mudflaps in the front of the truck? Are they planning on hauling loads in reverse?

The Sales Rep said Schneider trucks in Canada are registered in U.S but Schneider team will work with Canadian government to have them registered in Canada at the time of purchase

The Schneider gliders use a Pre-EGR (99-04) Detroit Series 60 and you'll have a 10speed with ultra shift auto or manual shift. I'd highly suggest staying away from the ultra shift(no clutch pedal) automatics. When I drove a pumpkin I drove several and each time I hopped in one it needed to be towed for some reason.
In 2010-2012 they retired all of the Pre 2004 Century trucks straight to the glider builders, there were thousands. If you see a Schneider Columbia it IS a glider.
Not sure what Schneider has the trucks set to HP wise but I'd be willing to bet it is far less than the advertised 420HP, very doggy on hills. You'll also be looking at a governor speed of 60-62.
Have also driven some Schneider trucks after they were sold off(and non speed limited and turned up to a moderate #) and they drove pretty good.
Interior wise take a good look at the plastic trim around the dash, give it a good shake/yank. Always seems to be the first thing to go. -
