    SP,

I'm like you- I prefer cash on the barrel head. Cash has no paper trail!

Clownface- maybe you should read some more of SouthernPride's posts, then add a reply. It's not my place to speak the man's position, but I think if you read his posts you'd have a more positive view.

now if you new fiknance compamys like i do you would understand why i don't like them. i had a truck finanched several years ago, i fell behind on the payments as some do, i tried to cartch the payments up 2 of them and the finance company refused my payments and took the truck, i havent messed with a finance company sinch , ill just pay cash that way i don't have o worry about it and they can't take what is mine.

but who knows you might have a better way.----southernpride:biggrin_25514:

Cash works. And ya know what?
You make the same money running an older truck vs a brand new shiney truck and don't need to worry about the monthly payments being so high, if at all......I am done with banks and loans an all their C-R-A-P.

Instead of posting rude things, how about you don't post at all if you have nothing better than this to contribute.

I agree, but drivers want the big chrome, the long hood, the "look at me at the truck stop" factor. I park up in 'Bugsy' my old Western Star at the truck stops and realize there is one born every minute. I don't run the first 3000 miles of my month just to give it to a bank to pay for my truck. (sorry, their truck):biggrin_25524:

:biggrin_25514:Whats wrong with a big chrome, & a long nose truck? If its paid for,run with it. :biggrin_25514: But i know what your saying, new drivers see dollar $$$ & mega miles==not & think they can pay for it, only to find out that it takes a lot of work & brains to run a business.:biggrin_255:
