As many think miles mean everything, zvar mentioned one issue, the other is trucks sitting are bad for the truck so ignore the idea that you can jump into it and go ... do your due diligence ... oil samples for an OA really needed, get the ECM dumped to see actual numbers for idle time and other things, get a mechanic look at it from front to back. This is a truck, it isn’t a woman or a car, it is a tool and just because it looks cool, it can be a money pit sitting at the shop but a good looking one.

I bought a 99 truck with 600k miles. Had to change every rubber part plus the whole front suspension. $15k later (and $5k more on the way) it still was worth it.

Idle hours are of little significance on a truck that has 27 000 miles only. Only the price and having a place to work on it are the key elements here. It could be a bargain or not but working on it is inevitable.

Go for it. 2007 pre def emissions, not broken in, frozen in time sounds good. Wish I could find a ‘67 359 like that.
As for the trucks that sit will be a no good money pit crowd. It is a high possibility to buy a brand new truck that has been sitting on a dealer lot unused for 3 or 4 years.Brettj3876, Derailed, AModelCat and 1 other person Thank this. -
I know it is extremely hard to believe to most folks, but lots of trucks do get bought new and hardly ever get drivin or run for that matter. Low miles, low hrs, and 20 years later the interior still smells fairly new. It’s a big world out there and not every truck is rode hard and put up wet.
