I have never bought anything from these people but most of their trucks seem to be owner operator specs with virgin tires.

This truck is a 670 with ishift and it has the table in the sleeper. Normally you have to get a 780 for the table.

If you do end up buying from there put up a post of your experience, if you get a chance. I hope to buy a truck very soon and they always seem to have decent inventory.

I can't stress this enough - start with doing the same thing on every truck you are looking at

ECM DUMP - print it out completely, don't let them leave out anything. Compare Odometer readings, and other things, see what firmware level is in the ECM and so on.

Dyno - this will tell you what percentage of power it is producing against its ratings, I don't have the numbers in front of me but if it is low, pass on the truck.

Blowby test - this tells you what condition the piston rings are in. A high pressure reading means pass on the truck, a marginal one also means pass on it.

Take the serial number to the dealer and have them tell you the history they have for the truck, any advisories/recalls/or documented issues with that truck.

2 to 3 weeks is what it takes me just to locate the trucks, then it takes a good 4 weeks to decide which one I am going to buy. All the effort pays off, I have had little issues with the trucks I have bought and my first brand new one has been a dog so far so I think I am going to stick to used after the second new one arrives (it is already paid for and being built).

That means the truck ran and didn't break down. Team driven as well, around 200k a year. In theory less idle time.

And it could mean that truck started to have problems and they got rid of it. I personally would buy a truck with like 200k miles, or buy an old truck for 15k and put in there another 10-20, this way you are good for next few years. I would not buy a Volvo with 600k, at this point they just start breaking down. You better buy one with over a million miles and receipts for all the repairs, which have been done from 600k to one mill

It's a download of the ECM. It will tell you things like idle time, max rpm and max speed, basically let's you know how the truck was treated.
