Yes but it also tells you the settings and more importantly in older trucks with mechanical odometers if the mileage is true. I get about 8 to 10 pages on one which leaves out some stuff so I always ask if there is more, please give it to me.

The trick or engine dealer are the only ones that can access the full ecm report. And truck had to be there to plug in. They can look up warrantee work with the vin. Get that first, then decide I'd it's worth the extra money for the ecm dump and dyno test.

As I said, only the truck or engine dealer can access the full ecm data, and it had to be done at their shop. for past warranteed work history. all you need is the vin and call the truck seller. you won't get a full work history, just what was warranteed is all you can count on.

Roadspartan, howdy pardner. Buying any truck is a risk, new or used. I agree with Scuba Steve, fleet trucks aren't as well maintained as O/O trucks. Also, fleets do PM's at 40K miles, a very minimum service schedule. Just keep looking, don't get in a hurry. If you want work soon, get on with a company truck for a while and accumulate resources, contacts, and information. Look at Ritchie Brothers Auctions. Also, remember that Volvo makes a good truck, but the parts for repair or maintenance are sometimes not in stock and have to come a long way. That means you'll be sitting while your costs are continuing.

Don't be put off by negative comments here about automatic transmissions. A lot of guys like things "the way they used to be," or "real drivers use 3 pedals," a conservative bunch. Automatics are fine, so if you prefer auto, go for auto. Best!

I m in process to get truck,i found one...it is like I previously said Volvo 670,2011,625.000 miles, super single tires,I shift. They did oil change and break replacement, there is no leaks(oil, liquid or air).

As you asid Starboyjim it's all risk out there,i ll take this risk and how ever will be,will be!

One question for you...do you pay sale taxes when u transfer title on your name, cuz i m buying this truck for cash so its all the way mine? Truck is BTW imported from Canada.

In my personal experience, f* the super singles and f* the auto tranny.
Go practical, don't go for the assumption that things "could" go great if...
I've learned this the hard way, and my instinct to survive in this business and sacrifices I keep making still allow me to breath, so here again, if you're just starting out "go practical"
