Personally, mostly canola and barley, some wheat, fertilizer, lentils, rye, flax, peas, soya beans, farm stuff.
Have also hauled road salt and frac sand.

    Clear title
I spend quite a bit of time buying parts from my local International dealer for the EPA masterpiece that I am the unfortunate owner of... Jeramy, the salesman, will still give me $35,000 for my 2008 ProStar, he made that offer again the other day, he will sell me a new one for $130,000 or there about, a well equipped O/O spec'd LoneStar or ProStar... I ran the numbers, with insurance, still looking at close to $4000 a month. I do good, but I am not stupid. My POS is paid for, new Tri-Pac hanging off the side, fresh in frame on a 600hp ISX, 18 Spd, lift axle, wet kit, lockers, new rubber up front, and 70% virgin USA on the drives.

Let's do the math here... ;-)

And then we have that EPA issue... Mine is long gone, several years ago... Clear title on mine.;-)

Yeah i'd keep it as well. 600hp cummins might now be that bad haha. Beats a payment everytime. Just put money away for repairs i'd say. You probably know that already though. :p

Trust me, I have been tempted, but then I think I am not going to get away with taking a month off a couple times a year. Those four day work weeks when things are rolling aren't going to happen. That new garage I want to build definitely will not happen. That is nearly $50,000 a year gone, poof! That is a lot of money to drive a new truck. A new truck with inherent emission issues that can run into the tens of thousands of dollars to repair, if the motor does not grenade in the first 100 or 200,000 miles. And don't get me started on warranties... Can't justify any of it.

Good thinking. I'm just a driver bit I've managed my money right. Don't have much but my expenses aren't a lot either. Love how some people call me lazy just because I'm not desperate for work atm lol. They're all running around like a chicken without the head and I'm here chilling.

Today I drove an Audi S5. Fell in love with that thing. But with how much it costs I can buy an used truck and work as an owner/lease op lol

Expenses low and right purchases are key to success. I'll keep hanging on to my paid off 04 civic lol. With the s5 I won't have a license for long. I was doing 90 without realizing it. So much fun tho

Work smarter, not harder. And you are correct, that Audi is a decent used truck that will make you money. And isn't that why we are out here, to make money? Trust me, I'm not out here for the "lifestyle" or the food. ;-)

I left the road, 2 months or so, now Just doing this temporary thing for a car hauler owner op. Short trips 300mi each way. Kind of getting my motivation going. It looks harder than it is. I'm learning a lot. Might take a swing at it and apply for a transport company to learn more and get paid the right way. (Hate being paid on a 1099 when I'm a freaking driver) so going to quit soon.

Good money in auto transport, even for a driver. I did it for a bit, Wheeler out of Michigan, he hauls cut vans and RV chassises, break your back work, but paid good. his drivers were making over $100,000 a year. But, they earn every penny.
