Probably a dumb question, but if I buy a trailer from a public auction and get a company to deliver it (Colorado to Texas) do I have to pay for temp tags or pay for insurance on it or anything like that before I receive it? I'm not sure how all this works so thought I would ask.

I sue to drive for a transport outfit, and we carried license plates for the stuff that we moved. I'm not super sure on the particulars of all of it, as I didn't do that for long. I didn't have to wait for papers to be sent/faxed etc. I'm sure those questions could be answered by the transport company.

Yeah, the transporter will have everything needed to do the job. You just need to have your wallet ready when he arrives.

    Lilbit Thanks this.
