Yeah too many folks put way too much faith in warranty on a used piece of equipment. It's a gimmick and it works. Search for some "warranty" horror stories on here from members who bought used equipment that was alledgedly "under warranty". If you want a warranty you'll have to buy new. Best get used to the fact your hip pocket is going to be the only warranty you'll ever have with a used truck....

Actually thats what most of those trucks go for pricewise! The color is very bad and no records means something is hidden!

I drive for them right now. The truck I'm in is actually pretty similar to that one, only it's a 2008 Columbia with 616,000 miles on it. Not sure what engine I have.

They're not all governed at 63. Mine will go up to at least 67 (don't want to go higher for fear of the QC reporting me.) Its cruise control is governed at 65.

I know the color is horrible! All of Gordon's trucks are that color. The DOT doesn't have a problem with Gordon (their safety rating is somewhere in the top 10 of the USA), but the the fashion police sure might.

I should add that that the Columbias here have hand roll down windows on the driver side. The passenger side is still a power window, but the driver side is not. ..... I have no idea what logic went into that design decision....

That's the way mine is and it makes perfect sense. Electric for the window you can't reach and manual for the one you can. Plus the drivers door gets slammed shut repeatedly so there aren't any delicate components in that door. Actually Pererbilts can be ordered that way too. Of all the things to nit pick....

If that warranty is issued by Detroit it's golden. I bought my Columbia new and when the first 500,000 warranty ran out I paid for the qualification on the extended 200,000 mile warranty and bought it. I needed a Turbo/ turbo brake (Mercedes) and the warranty coveted it no problem.

Columbias are good trucks. Ugly but good solid trucks. As a fleet truck it might not be spec'd with all the sound abatement insulation so it could be a little loud.
