Unfortunately the best we can do is make lemonade when EPA hands us lemons. In the next 10 years every state is going to require 2010 or newer (if the Feds dont do it sooner). Even if they don't mandate it, are you planning on rebuilding 6NZ's or twin turbos for the next 30 years?

So it's a VVA plug so what...The bakelite gets hard and cracks, remove and replace. I've had two of them go bad, big deal. 975,000 miles on BSX c-15, two injectors, two vva plugs, water pump, starter, uses 1 gal between oil changes, runs the best of any Cat I've ever owned. Your experience may differ, but "running" from one because of a bad VVA....?

Id say hell no 20-30k plus another 8-10k for rebuild the cylinders are getting warn shouldnt have blow by on a 07 my 99 with a 425 cat read better then this with 1.2 million 600k since inframe
