Thanks I know C15s are good because the company I work for run nothin but C15 or they are trying to keep it that way

I have a C-12 in a 2000 W900,,,pull heavy (135000 lbs),,,have 720000 miles on it,,,its had a head gasket and the new cam followers installed,,,,that's it!!!
I've had a bullydog on it for 3 years,,,fuel temp wire for 4 years,,,and a pdi turbo on it for 2 years now,,,pulls great,,,and gets fuel mileage that c-15 engines could only dream of,,,,I'd buy another c-12 engine anytime!!! -
I have a stage 1 pdi c12 mbl and it pulls 80k very easy, would pull much better behind a 13 or 18 though.
Strong little motor and it has been trouble free for the two years I've had it. If I had to do heavy haul I wouldn't think twice if the motor could do it. It pulls better than my 3406e but the 3406 lugs better. If the c12 goes below 1300 it falls on its face. -
So it's bout like an equal engine meaning good power as long as your sbove 1300 and good furl mileage

Later model C12's were about the best, they were the last years before any EGR, Emissions, I have had C12 OVER a million before being rebuilt, BUT we only haul to 54,000 not crazy about the C13's
-
That's not bad but how much horse power can you get out of one?
-
I believe they were 435/1650 -
That's pretty good
