I have a 2004 mbl c-12 in a w900b daycab. It always idled a little rough so I finally pulled the jakes and copied all the injector trim codes and got them set. I adjusted the injectors and valves since I was there. It now idles smooth. When I put the jakes back on I found conflicting information on the lash setting. I have always run them at. 045 I found something that said mbl should be .055 . I set them at .055 and I don't have the engine braking that I used to. So my question is can I run the .045 setting? Or was that possibly part of my rough idle.

I do not know about those Jake settings but I do not thank that would affect idle. It would affect how your Jakes work when applied. Do not thank they are in play at idle.

Thanks. All six trim codes were wrong. Runs much better now.
