worked for cl for 4 weeks. after the first week i found out that they did not pay deadhead miles less than 50 miles,51-100 miles was paid at half your rate. i told the manager that i would be looking for another job and was told ok. found another company. when it came time to pay me , they would not pay me for any deadhead miles or the last trip that i ran , which was 734 miles. some office nerd called me to tell me that if i wanted him to re-valuate the pay, he would take into account the hos violations i had accumalated(which were none, i got my logs)and in turn send me a bill. what a dipsh-t. any one looking to drive for them ,beware, they are unfair in their pay practices. they didnt even pay me for the layovers when the truck broke down.
