Thank you brother Aftershock for the kind words. I love the icons above especially the headbanging one like I usta was back in the 80s. Companies outside of trucking I was referring to along with CRE and those bottom feeders within it.

Correcly and succintly stated. It is their schools. Get a bunch of drone in like I almost flew in and get their John Handcocks on a $3.8k school, flunk them out, and send the lawyers after them.

Many private schools here in Chicagoland are similar. Get a brokie like me to get funding from the Employment Office Conselors via that WIA (Workers Investment Act) funds flow to. Send the vagrant to the school. School to flunk out the fool. Kickback from the school to the Conselors and the loop is then complete. I am fortunate to find a school that is NOT corrupt.

I am a recent member here on TTR but I have been reading the forums for over twelve months. CRE complaints explode expoentially like germs on dung. The main reasons I chose Schneider for consideration are in order of importance 1) not many complaints relative to their hudge size, CRE is 1/3 the size with 10x the complaints, 2) they take recent grades and pay for tuition and sometimes a signing bonus, and 3) yard is 40 miles from my bedside.

I am heavily considering some LTLs also now. I like to know that I am getting something for every hour I am at work. Driving with them is still by the mile unless local package and delivery, but any forklift or emptying the truck by hand tasks are at double-digits per hour. I read a horry story of a guy at Werner unloading a trailer at Dollar General -- 2,800 pieces for which he claimed he got a lottery's worth of $90.

Thanks mate. Ideally, I would like a 'there-and-back' linehaul type thing; where I may be in me own bed most nights yet stay away from local traffic congestion and package and delivery hell.

I shall do my best to do just that. ;-)

Life wrecker is right! We learned how bad the CRE "leasing program" was the hard way...we ended up heartbroke and bankrupt. I sure wish I had read the advice here before even going to work at CRE. We are with a different company now and even though there have been ups and downs with them it is still a thousand times better than it was at CRE.

    AfterShock and Rogerthat Thank this.
