I figured you meant it, but it is Pride not Prime. Jeff England started it.
Definitely no metal detectors to talk to him. You can find him normally dressed in the company's mechanic overalls working on one of his trucks. If he's in the office building talking to another office person he'll cut the person off to say hello to a driver usually.

They are quite good at the art of illusion. You should see Chazz or Chass or whatever his name is give testimony on the "driver shortage" that is crippling his company. -
I don't think THBatMan intended to mislead the readers with incorrect information. He stated his goal is to correct the misconceptions thought to be contained within this thread. That's admiral of him. But to attempt to discredit those negative claims based on not havin' personally seen or been subjected to such treatment was weak to begin with, and becomes even weaker with his defense of C.R.E. by placin' the blame on another company that's conveniently associated with none other than the Sons-0-Chester.
That sorta backfired.
Kinda makes one wonder how accurate the rest of the claims are.
When enlightened on the subject of Horizon Leasing there was no reply or appreciation for correctin' the error. That subject seemed to get dropped like a hot potato.
We're informed by just about every defender of C.R.E. that those who fail there have "poor work ethics" and that they spend too much time in truck stops wastin' time on the internet complainin' about self-inflicted problems. It's as though they're given talking points and coached, or scripted with highlighted buzz words.
THBatMan says that he's a company driver at C.R.E.
But I have no way of knowin' that for sure.
He also mentioned that before signin' on with C.R.E. he did his "homework before joining a company". Yet he seemed uninformed about who actually is in charge of the leasing company, and therefor does set the terms of the lease, and it is the Sons-0-Chester.
If, in fact, THBatMan is a C.R.E. company driver doin' well there,
I wish him well and hope he continues to. I hold no animosity toward the C.R.E. drivers. It's management that sizzles my bacon.
It disappoints me, but the error combined with the reaction, or lack thereof, upon bein' informed of said error has affected his credibility, --- sorry to say.

On a side note:
I do not care if you don't believe what I say I am. I'm not going to waste my time pleasing people on a forum I will never meet. And don't expect me to give out my personal information. I was born at night but not last night.Last edited: Sep 29, 2011

You have 886 posts in seven months. Why do you stick around if you dislike this forum so much? (Hate to me is such a strong word).AfterShock Thanks this. -
Other opinions don't weigh on me. I have a problem when people want to shove a mistake in my face, and shove their opinion down my throat. I'm not here to post opinions, and I'm not here to debate over yours. Bashing me because of a mistake is a good way to get on my bad side. Don't tell me you never made a mistake.tdcanterbury67 and venne Thank this. -

In the past the Sons-0-Chester have been suspected of plantin' phonies here that make all sorts of claims and tell their success story and how well they're doin' at C.R.E. They claim there's no shabby treatment of drivers at C.R.E., --- assuring us that all those who don't make it there have "poor work ethics" and "spend too much time in truck stops'. Same claims that you make. Same terminology. I find that odd, especially considerin' that C.R.E. cheerleaders are the only ones who use that reference word for word. I suspect that's what the Sons-0-Chester preach to their newBees to explain away the bad reputation C.R.E. has in the Big truck truckin' industry. I imagine it would be believed by those unfamiliar with the industry. The same ones C.R.E. talks into a lease before they're aware.
I hear about how C.R.E. is doin' folks a favor by givin' 'em a chance when no other truckin' companies will. I think C.R.E. is doin' a favor, but the favor is for the company and pays off with a profit. Therein lies the real reason. C.R.E. now depends on a high turn-over rate instead of shellin' out big bucks tryin' to retain their drivers. When other Big truck truckin' companies are goin' belly up in this economy, the Sons-0-Chester have cleverly devised new methods to keep their doors unlocked by taking advantage of the flood of hungry applicants now available. Like sharks in a feedin' frenzy, the hungry are fed. Problem is, when invited to join the Sons-0-Chester for dinner, the dinner is the newBee that is consumed by the powers that be C.R.E.
BurP!
Then throw whatever remains out the door, often dingin' their DAC as a parting gift, --- to cover their actions, no doubt.
How does C.R.E. manage to find all the applicants with such "poor work ethics"? And why do they continue to hire them if they're such a drain on the operation? Could it be that it's proven to be profitable? If it were costin' 'em money, they would have changed their policies, but they haven't. It's the same ol' -- same ol' business as usual and has been for years.
There's a genuine reason why C.R.E. has such a bad reputation, ---
and it has nothin' to do with their drivers' "work ethics", but rather C.R.E.'s lack of "ethics"
But you're free to believe whatever you choose to believe, and I have the same freedom. I believe you don' know as much about C.R.E. as you think you do. You claim you're not seein' what hundreds of others have reported, and their reports are consistently the same,--- and many of them aren't even aware of all the others. Consistent accuracy would indicate that their stories aren't just made up. Truth is consistently accurate though.
When truckloads say BaD
And a handful say GooD,
What are the odds in numbers?
Then again, perhaps it's all a vast conspiracy perpetrated by a few ungrateful disgruntled former drivers with "poor work ethics" who spend too much time parked in truck stops, --- pickin' on a swell truckin' company that's nice enough to give 'em a break when no other truckin' companies will.
Is that hard to fathom?
My ultimate goal is to know the truth.
If, after exchanging ideas, thoughts and opinions with those who disagree with me, something previously unknown to me is presented, I'll reconsider my opinion. Doing so either reassures me that my opinion is correct, or, if not, I'll change my opinion to what is correct.
The truth.
I have only contempt for anyone who knowingly and/or purposely dispenses untruths.
If I don't believe someone, I probably wouldn't believe any of their personal information anyway. That's why I don't request personal information.
This is the internet.
We can say we're anything we wanna be. '
