cr england going under yeah right. From what I hear they are ripping people off with their lease purchase.

-
And speaking of "over/under" --- I'm thinking SOMEday, SOMEone is going to present
C.R. England with the business end of a Browning over/under shotgun.

1400 miles x .50 = $700.0 not 750 -

it's important to read the WHOLE thread ---
otherwise, y'all can get lost.
Y'all wouldn't read just one page of a map on a cross-country trip, would'ja?
Or just the last few pages of a book.
Although, I think it's ok to eat desert first --- before the main course.
MGASSEL Thanks this. -

But I'm curious what was uncivil about the comment I made in my post that you're referring to?
My comments were made with tongue firmly planted in my cheek. Keeping in mind that for comedy to be funny, it needs to be based, at least partly, in TRUTH. Something that actually DOES exist and exaggerated to some degree to emphasize a point, --- and that's what I did.
Whereas your comparison to C.R. England's lease plan as being a "walk away" option is PARTLY accurate, you omitted the fact that C.R. England misrepresents and lies about that program to unsuspecting and inexperienced newBees, and others, who are just attempting to provide for themselves and their families. C.R. England has, and continues to ruin folks financially while C.R. England turns a profit as a direct result of their policies, practices and actions.
When folks with good intentions are cheated out of money to the point of being financially ruined it can have a devastating effect on an otherwise mellow person. When a person finds themselves placed betwixt a rock and a hard place with no apparent way out it can cause a panic situation which can, and sometimes does, cause a person to snap and do unthinkable things they wouldn't ordinarily do.
How many times have we read about a person going off the deep end and doing something totally unexpected after experiencing a traumatic event in their lives?
Ever hear of a person catching their mate being unfaithful and wind up killing the whole family --- including children?
Hmmmmmmmm?
Or an employee being treated unfairly and returning to work only to shoot up the place and anyone who gets in the way?
Hmmmmmmmm?
Are those things funny?
HaiL NO they're not!
But those things DO happen.
And if you read my post as an attempt at humor, you read it wrong. If anything, my posted comments are more of a prediction of things to come if C.R. England continues their current practices. IMO, it's just a matter of time before we read about a C.R. England employee seeking revenge for the unjust things C.R. England is known for doing. And I believe C.R. England is WELL aware of that possibility. That's why C.R. England utilizes something other Big truck truckin' companies don't feel is necessary, --- that being metal detectors and armed guards to protect them from the monsters they're creating when they cheat and misrepresent the truth for the company's financial gain at the expense of otherwise well intended employees also known as truck drivers.
I noticed you mentioned "money is money".
And to that I'd like to add something else about money ----
The LOVE of money is the root of all evil.
And, since C.R. England seems to be all about the love of THEIR money at the expense of others, I liken C.R. England with evil.
That's my opinion.
Others might agree.
Or not.
I also noticed you mentioned "when I was there" which seems to infer, and I surmise, that you have been employed by C.R. England in the past. If so, you're in a unique position to discredit my opinions about C.R. England --- if you can. I invite you to inform all of us about the good things about C.R. England which, so far, nobody has taken the time or effort to do.
Are all of the satisfied drivers at C.R. England without a voice and/or unable to type their good thoughts about the company? Why do they seem to prefer remaining silent if the bad things mentioned about C.R. England are not based in fact? I've asked many times for anyone with positive comments to respond, and I'm still waiting. Frankly, I've all but given up hope that anyone will step up and inform me where I'm wrong in my thought process. The silence is deafening and, IMO, speaks volumes about the truth of the matter.
IMO, C.R. England is more than just dishonest, and, IMO, that company has good reason to fear what could happen in the future.
I'm NOT suggesting that ANYone resort to violence, but I DO see the potential for that happening as a direct result of what C.R. England does to many folks.
And I'm NOT suggesting that I think they'd deserve to be killed because of their practices. But I AM in tune with reality, and reality suggests it isn't wise to mess with people in the way C.R. England does if one intends to live a longer life.
It's abundantly obvious the powers that be C.R. England aren't very concerned with what effects their company has on others. It seems they delight in tempting fate.
Metal detectors and armed guards?
Good grief!
What ARE they afraid of ---- and WHY?
Hmmmmmm?
