Considerin' what condition my condition is in this mornin', you could be right. If I had taken the time to read the entire post instead of just skimmin' over it, I probably would have come to the same conclusion that you did instead of being so misdirected, --- hopelessly lost somewhere betwixt shippin' and receivin'. For me to think otherwise would suggest that the poster in question is trolling in a no phishin' zone.

i was recently accepted into cr englands truck driving school. i had no intent of leasing a truck so thought i could go be a company driver. i am former marine corps infantry and currently a plumbers apprentice. ( only 25 and laid off unable to find work). so naturally i was excited to hear i may have a job.

the corps taught me a lot. like read a contract with a telescope not just a magnifying glass. of course their contract doesn't look so bad at first glance. then i thought i'd see what employee reviews, if any were out there on the england company.

first red flag- mormon owned. i live in pa and know how the amish feel towards outsiders, would expect the same

2nd- wow. what a list of abuse. and the complaints of any nature, sexual harassment, racism ect... are all told multiple times by multiple people.

3rd- to be fair i researched other companies to see about their complaints. after all they'll all have some. but it took me 15-20 min to read about schneider and swift compared to the literally 11 hours i spent sifting thru complaints on cr england

in summation, thank you to the veteran truckers out there who gave all a heads up on not only this company but the sham they're running with these paid for schools. thank you to all those they screwed but u took the time to let it be known. thanks to you guys i didn't make a disastrous life decision!

p.s. i decided to try and find work in plumbing again. after 30 disappointments i found a great company and am almost 100% sure i'm getting hired. thanks so much guys!

I don't know how the owner's of CR England sleep at night! They are full blown liar's and thief's! and not ashamed of their unethical business practices.

For the first four months my husband worked for them for FREE! His first pay check was (-$126.00) second pay check (-$245.00) third pay check was $16.49. every pay check there after was a negative dollar amount, until the 5th month, 1st week, he earned $4,028.00 but his take home was $737.00 which was direct deposited into the bank that was overdrawn -$234.00.

In eight months his total YTD Income was $70,240.65 of that, his take home (Net income) pay was $18,836.09! talk about highway ROBBERY!!.

From Salt Lake he was dispatched out for FOUR MONTHS! before they allowed him two days off home time. It's like pulling teeth! to get home. They literally hold you hostage! Then after running for over seventeen weeks, he got tired of them ignoring his request for "home-time" he told them "I'm going home with or without a load going to California" they told him to wait til they could find a load to California. He waited for three days! and finally said "F__ck it!, I'm going home!" they said "You better not! we will shut off your fuel card!" and they did!!. It's not like they pay his fuel, they had no right! to shut it off! they did so for the sole purpose of keeping him hostage, literally held against his will!. Knowing he has no money in the bank because his pay checks where negative in the hundreds!. Not to mention they dispatch you as far way from home as possible! He was stuck in that truck 24hrs a day 7 days a week, week after week. Unable to roam freely on his off time because he had no other form of transportation.

The truck has no T.V., microwave, CB Radio or refrigerator. The whole time out he eat cup of noodles soup and potted ham sandwiches night after night, after night.

Oh, and the lease contract is crafty in it's wording. It ought to be a crime to offer such a contract! During the signing, the lease company quickly and verbally explained key points and said "sign here" "here" "and right here" (taking advantage of the trust in good faith my husband had in them as professionals).

PLEASE!! DO NOT WORK FOR THIS COMPANY!!! It's bad for your health, bad for your love life, bad for your financial income

 

I'm certainly no fan of CRE. But ANYBODY who signs ANY KIND of a LEGAL DOCUMENT, (such as a lease) without having fully read and understood what It says sort of deserves whatever they get.

Never let anybody push you into signing any kind of contract, unless YOU UNDERSTAND IT! If that means you have to take it to an attorney to get it interpreted for you, then so be it. If the other party of the contract is not willing to let you do this, there is a reason.

It is a big bad world out here, and people are standing in line to screw you out of your last penny. It is up to you, and you alone, to prevent them from doing that.

 

Something funny here! What happened to the CRE cheerleader Corneileous ? All his posts are gone and no sign of him!

Another thing that's about to really P me off are the rollover pop ups that have hit TTR! I know TTR has to make money to stay alive BUT turn off the stupid things! If I want to see what "trucks" means I'll frickin CLICK on the stupid thing instead I have to X the darn thing off! The MORON who thought that stupid idea up should be taken and tared and feathered! And throwing a commercial up on my screen is wasting your broadband as I have NEVER in my life let a commercial point me in a direction! Again if I want to look at something I'll click it! Don't pop the stupid thing up in my face!

Do you think you and your husband would of done better if you bought your own truck instead of leasing from CRE? That's what I plan to do. I wouldn't depend on them and rely soley on them to make me a living. They are going to look out for themselves and just the same, I am going to look out for myself. It''s a mean world and people are gonna be mean to you, and the one thing I learned is that in this world you got to nut up or shut up and get mean, then you start to think clearly and get results.

 

Maybe....He finally found out that everyone but him was right and couldn't man up and admit it to us, So he did what so many before him have done...POOF!!! Gone....


If he's gone, I for one will miss him (a little) tenaciously hanging on to the impossible dream that England might be an honest, ethical company!

There is a virus and adware called ask.com! That is part of "play sushi" a free on line game that was actually given on Kim Komano's downloads news letter! If you go to your add remove programs and see Play Sushi just click it and remove it! BUT this program adds 2 lines under certain words in posts and other web based HTML and when you run your cursor over them a popup appears with some free game websites on it and ads also. This is the same thing you might see in a lot of the news websites also. Now to go get them taken care of! Shutting this off in msconfig does no good.
