Hey, I'm looking to get into trucking and start a new career within the next few months. I've been looking into England and KLLM for the fact that they have schools for you to get your CDL... I have a friend that went through England and said it wasn't too bad. They give you miles which I'm looking for. I also see a lot about England not being to good of a company. I can't find too much on KLLM but they pay teams more than England. Oh yeah me and my wife are looking to get into school and team together OTR. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!

Neither but kllm would be a better choice.Look into Prime or Millis much better companies.

Saw an England truck with half a bumper, missing rear ferrings, and a huge scratch on the side trying to alley dock and failing miserably. Circled the lot a few more times then parked where the diesel trucks deliver to the pumps. U know...where it says "no parking anytime"

Since you have some time, stop by the local state employment office and see what kind of grant you can get for a private school. When you get out of that school, if you do well, you'll have offers to choose from and won't be locked in. I'm hearing that grants take about a month.

KLLM. Only thing better would be a employees with all company drivers.

I have driven for neither, but I have spoken with a few CR England drivers. Many, if not most of the mega carriers may tell you "we don't have any company trucks now, but we can put you in a lease purchase".
They call this "buy a job". All the expenses have been shifted to the driver who knows nothing about running his or her own truck. England is probably the most egregious in doing this.Toomanybikes, NavigatorWife and Canned Spam Thank this. -
