You never answered what reason they gave for sending you home...

However, I don't get why you would even be there in the first place... You have famhat are O/Os and won't teach you what you need to learn to get your CDL.. then use there truck to test in and get some experience and you are good to go..

Something doesn't add up.. CREngland sends you home, you come from.a truck driving family, yet they won't help you...

Think there are some important facts missing..

Yeah, I don't get it either after reading the first 2 pages. It's one thing to not have the family member train you, since if they don't find/give you a job, you'll need certified training for insurance reasons. I just don't know why someone with insight to the industry, that understands the CRE turnover rate would sign up for their program... You're either leaving out a reason for being dismissed, or you have something bad on your record. Being sent home for an issue with verifying work history after weeks of training doesn't sound right, I'm sure they would have let you help smooth it out or even ignore it within reason.

Go take the test if you feel you can pass it!

I too am seeing things that don't add up in MrCompton's posts. One of the major ones is that his grandfather, (or whoever he said it was,) allows the OP to drive his truck without having a CDL. Somebody made the comment that he didn't say he came from a SMART trucking family. I will certainly have to agree with that statement, after reading this thread.

MrCompton, you say your grandad is getting ready to retire. What is he going to do with the business? Do you have any thoughts about stepping into it and taking over when he retires? I guess I just don't understand exactly what your situation is here.

    Good luck to you.
