If all goes as planned I will be going to classes to get my CDL on July 16th @ C1 in Fort Wayne IN. Now I am aware that only about half of what these companies tell you has any truth to it. Can anyone who has been to this training facility tell me what to expect.

Any info, tips or advice would be appreciated.

Thanks for your time an input.

You will be doing well is half of what they tell you is true. Probably 5% is closer.

I went there two years ago for a "refresher course". The school itself is ok for what it is (CDL mill). You will learn a little... just enough to get your CDL. The yard instructors are all pretty cool and will help you get through so hu can get your CDL. Im not sure what all you want to know, but the hotel my company put me in was crap.

Did not go there, but it is probably like most mills. They will teach you enough to get your CDL. Pay attention, listen and try to ask questions. Most guys or gals are going to not want to look stupid and won't ask questions, or not jump in the truck to do something new, don't be afraid that is why you are there to learn. The more seat time you have the better. Good luck.
