hey, i took all four bolts for my c13 acert thermostat housing to take off the thermostat, its loose but its being held in by some tube that runs down past the second turbo, do i take out that tube from the housing side or turbo side and how would i take it out

Tube goes down to w/p. Tube is bypass when thermostat is not open. O-ring on both sides. Hold pipe with pliers and pry up with pry bar on t stat housing. Penetrating spray and twisting helps.

Remove the clamp from the end away from the thermostat housing. I believe the end with the clamp on it goes to the oil cooler. I have a C15 and that is the way it is set up.

No clamps on a c13. Just keep prying and spraying wd40 or similiar, they are a pain to get apart but go together alot easier.
