C13 cat engine, what to look at when buying one?

    I’m picking up a Detroit fld this weekend this guy also has a c13 cat in a Pete 388 for sale.

    I don’t know much about these engines it’s an 07 Pete with c13 how are they over the road any issues? Also what psi should oil be at idle and running when warm?

    Trying to see if I can get both of them but want some knowledge before going out and trying to make deal.

    I got a 2004 387 Pete with a C13 on it. 360k miles since I bought it (1.4MM now), NOT A SINGLE PROBLEM WITH IT!!! It has the twins, @1500rpm 43psi boost. 6.5mpg over the years. Its a KCB serial. Check the Adept Ape channel for more good info about it.
