C13 kcb engine model jake brake solenoid help

    Can anyone tell me if the ECM has to be reflashed, when the updated solenoids (250-9377) are installed. Read the new solenoids have a larger magnet than the original factory solenoids and would need more current to operate properly. The second question is about the connection harness for the Solenoid. Is it true that the harness is glued to the solenoid?

    No the ecm doesn't need to be reflashed. As for the connections if cat does it then the connections will be fine, no issues..just plug and play!
