The ADIS dryer should only use the blue capped governor from Bendix which is non-adjustable. Installing a adjustable one will really screw things up and it will never cut out right.Rideandrepair, spsauerland and AModelCat Thank this.

put a cap on the main big line that goes to the air tank. start the truck. it should almost immediately start relieving out the safety valve on the compressor. if it doesn't do that your compressor is unserviceable. if it does your compressor is fine and the problem is either in the pneumatic plumbing or a leaking discharge hose which is pretty common.
pays to get someone to help with dead heading the compressor as it is best to run it for as little time as possible. the safety valve will protect the compressor.
if it doesn't relieve from the safety valve when dead headed there is a fault with the compressor. either there is a big hole in the piston or the unloader valves are jammed openspsauerland Thanks this. -
So I got another new compressor same issue.....

Your suction hose/intake hose upper piece looks pretty flimsy. It isn't collapsing or sucking shut? Also, ones on KCB C13 have a storage tank with check valve for proper Reed valve operation.

Nope it's a thick tube but, I ran it without the tube and no change.
-

spsauerland Thanks this. -
