I have an 06 379 sh and looking at swapping the c13 for a c15 and wondering about ecms. I know the mxs/nxs are 120 pin but is that motor side or body side? Also would it work in an 06 since it has the new style gauges? Just getting my sucks in a row first so it can be as easy as pie to swap and go.

Mawlk industries will make a harness for any engine, for any truck. Well worth $1500.00. C13 and C15 are different all together. It will fit. Best to find a salvage yard with one that had a C15. Helps with like intake plumbing and get the vin number so you can order parts later.

    Nelly379 Thanks this.

Mxs is 120 on the CAT side and 70 on the OEM side.
A C13 probably KCB prefix is 70 on the CAT and OEM.
All that matters is the OEM side as the CAT harness should come with the engine. Possibly the C15 ECM will need to be programmed to communicate on the J1939 so the dash gauges work.

    Nelly379 and RET423 Thank this.
