doesnt the c16 have problems with the aprons?

why not just build the c15 with a hopped up ecm?

well, you can get reason5 pass and reflash ECM... but really there is a lot of difference! C16 and C15 are of really different parts lists

Try to get C15 engine number, get Cat SiS and try to pring C15 and C16 parts lists to compare!

The original question was whats the difference in c15 block and c16 block. So if blocks are same I think someone can put internals from one block to another even those internals may not be same.

Well thanks everybody for your help. The reason I ask is that its well know there is no replacement for displacement when all things are created equal in the smaller cubic inch and the bigger cubic inch which one will always over power the other, we all know the bigger one.

Whew............you ain't priced the crankshaft yet. The parts will interchange between the blocks, but to buy them takes a small fortune

Actually you'd be surprised how close the two engines are in Hp when you play with them. The larger cubic inch engine doesn't gain much advantage in Hp, but if you want to talk about the torque differences, the difference is big in a C-16

low end torque is a good thing, but driving engine at low speed with pedal to floor is not good for fuel milage and sometimes C16 drivers got less miles per galon comparing with C15, becouse they do not shift down in time
