My brothers C15 was filled to double its oil capacity and started for about 15-20 seconds when it was shutoff when the engine didn’t sound right.long story short one person was supposed to be draining the oils and changing filters while the other filling with new oil on a few trucks.Truck doesn’t want to start back up and it was drained till it was at max level. What could have happened to the engine? TIA.

Good heavens, man. What you heard was the engine was hydraulically locked, meaning there was no place for the pistons to go with so much oil. I'm not sure what the implications are to that, but seeing it won't start, could be a timing issue or engine oil in the fuel system. One thing for sure, don't let these crooks get away with this. They owe you a motor and hopefully that person gets fired.

Will it turn over and not start, or will it nor spin at all.

Had a C12 that ended up with a leaking injector that filled the engine oil to nearly 3x its capacity. Besides the wiped out bearings from the diluted oil it started and ran. Its probably not hurt too badly.

The crank was turning in oil and turning oil into foam, hope/fully it will go down thru the rings down into pan if you let it sit?

What happens when you hit the starter now?
Can you turn it over with a breaker bar from underneath?
Somehow you gotta get the oil out of the combustion chambers.

On the subject of oil filling an engine to twice its capacity. A family member who will remain nameless filled my 2 cylinder Ford/Shibura 1700 diesel tractor up to the filler cap in the rocker cover once. Sump capacity is 1 gallon and a 1 qt filter. They thought you filled it like a Briggs with no dipstick on a lawn mower.
It wouldn’t turn over so Luckily the only thing that happened was a waste of 3 gallons of oil when it had to be drained out and a smokey runner for a few hours due to valve guide and head port saturation.
