I have a c15 6NZ and I'm having problems with with coolant blowing out of my reservoir. It does not run hot or have any signs of a blow head gasket.I have the block tester kit to test for hydrocarbons in the system and it has none present.i have done the test 3 times with the last one putting the coolant overflow hose into a bottle with the blue fluid in it so the bubbles would be in the fluid.I think I'm Fighting a Air pocket problem since this problem seamed to start when I changed the thermostats.I have drained all the air out of the system and bypasses the air compressor to eliminate a bad compressor.Any Ideas?

Have you swapped the reservoir cap? aren't they pressure relief?

Air controlled heater water valves? Don't know your set up but if you loosen something on top of the head , and or right next to the thermostat, to bleed air off and it works you may have and air bleed port stopped up. Then it will work intell the next time the coolant is drained. Thermostats and temp senders do not work properly or at all when in an air pocket.
An example is a 3304 in a loader that would get extremely hot. It had a small vent hole close to the thermostat for an air bleed that was stopped up with silicone. The thermostat and sending unit were in an air pocket so they did not open or register while the heat was burning the paint off the head on the exhaust side.

I put a new cap on when i did the thermostats and there is a air bleed hose that comes off of the thermostat housing to the reservoir tank to bleed air.

you have compression either head gasket or cracked head just tear it down fairy dust is going to fix it. Also you got the wrong fluid for hydrocarbons in diesel is red you got blue is for gas engines

Just because you have one does not mean it is open.

Have swap caps from another truck that's has no problems and is still doing it.The fluid I used is for both gas and diesel it changes from Blue to green for diesel and blue to yellow for gas.I have checked the hose from thermostat housing and it is flowing a lot no blockage there.I don't know how much should be flowing thur that little hose for the air bleed but it is maxed out.The other air bleed hose that comes off the top of the radiator has no flow but is not restricted.

Link to video I used the test kit the right way but then did this.If the air is from the head gasket it should turn color.
