C15 cat idle problem, 1000 rpms

    Has anyone ever had a c15 isle itself to 1000 rpm by itself every 2-3 min that you setting still. Sometimes it does it sometimes it doesn’t, you can push the clutch in and it will isle back down then wait few minutes it will go right back up. It’s not auto idle thing either we turned it all off, the only thing I can think of it’s trying to regen, that part was deleted but I think it’s stull trying. Anyone have this issue

    my truck does the same but nothing brings it back except moving the truck

    I have changed the speed sendor & there are no PTO settings active I would love some advice

    The C15 model spans many years and several different serial number prefixes. It would definitely help us out if we knew what we were working with. :)

    to stop carbon packing from excessive idle
