Someone else on this forum had a problem getting a C15 to fire in a Kenworth. I believe it was SMELLSFUNNY. It turned out to be a lead from the starter to the ECM. I own a 379exhd and my Acert shut off w/same description as you have given. Turned out to be the 5 amp fuse that runs to the ECM. It had worn loose. Wiggled it and truck would fire up, wiggled it and truck would shut off.

Mine did the same as Everluc....Should be 3 smaller wires ,10-12 gauge, with inline fuses going to positive terminals of battery, check them

Mine did the same thing. Had it towed into cat. Turned out to be a wire to the ecu. I would start checking wires.

    EverLuc Thanks this.
