    Lubrication failure? Did they say anything about the piston coolers being in place, did they reuse the old ones? Could old ones have been clogged? I don't think a marine cam had anything to do with failure. Imaging if it would have failed on a boat 200 or 300 miles out to sea.?


    and this could be why cat is getting some bad rep with rebuilds, reman parts etc. For that kind of money, you could have outfitted an n14 and gotten an rebuild tranny and rears.
