C18 rough idle when cold

    Hello, i have problem with C18 engine in dump truck. Customer states that its running rough when cold. I pay him a visit today and i could not simulate the problem. But i did injector cut out test, all injectors seems firiing the same. Injector solenoid test also OK. Fuel pressure is about 75 psi on idle and about 95 psi full throttle. Engine is after rebuild with new injectors. Overhead checked about month ago, new fuel filters. Engine runs fine, pulls good to. Only thing i noticed is there is slight greyish to black smoke when accelarate. if you have any ideas i would be gratefull. Thank you.

    Cut out test all but 1 cylinder, 1 at a time. If it will not stay running on that hole it is not making full power. This will almost always pick out the offending hole/ holes.
