I removed the roof fairing from a 2012 Intl Prostar but there's 2 brackets at the front of the cab that stick up about 4" that have 3 bolts or rivets holding them on. They have a round head like a carriage bolt. Does any one know if I can grind them off or do I need to take the headliner down to get at nuts on the underside of the roof? I don't want to grind them off and they drop down in leaving holes in the roof

They're probably huck bolts. Have to cut them out to remove them.
Either cut them out and re seal the holes or just cut off the part of the brackets sticking up.Bean Jr. Thanks this. -
Maybe to be safe I'll cut off the part of the bracket that sticks up. It looks like a big job taking down the headliner. Thanks for the advice.

I just got a Grinder and ground off the top of angle that sticks up, then a bit of pant to seal raw steel to keep it from rusting?
Bean Jr. Thanks this.
