Do you really need the smaller turning radius?
24yr old truck would be cool as a classic project, but I wouldn't want to live everyday without a stand up sleeper.Redtwin Thanks this. -
If you have access to lots of money and have great physical agility, and promise you won't succumb to buyers remorse, go ahead.
Sirscrapntruckalot, Bob Dobalina and BigTennOTR Thank this. -
Lots of money no lol I did mention I'm a otr driver... I don't need a lot of space just a bed to sleep. That's all I do now in this truck... I get out every Chace I can and walk around... a lot of places we go r in tight places, but are do able...
Badmon, Grubby and Oldironfan Thank this. -
It's not beautiful to those who have bent the back inside of the #### thing.BigTennOTR and d281833 Thank this. -
I love the look of a cabover, too.
If I were going to run cans out of a port, I'd get one.
I'd like to have one for a project truck, too, but it would be a tough sell to mrs skillet.
Did a month with CRST in a cabover, don't believe I'd want to go OTR in one ever again. YMMV.
You're the boss, get what you like....Badmon, ExOTR, x1Heavy and 1 other person Thank this. -

Ahhh the good ol' days, I remember laying in the bunk trying to get dressed, picking up all the change that had fallen out my pants. You had to either lay down or, lay down. Trying to get the cab jacked up in the bitter cold and the cab jack freezing so it would neither go up or down and having to get it towed to a shop to thaw out. Forgetting to secure everything when tilting the cab and having the 8 track case take out the windshield. The good ol' days? Not. I look back now and chuckle but I wouldn't go back to one.
Monkey in a truck, autopaint, Landincoldfire and 10 others Thank this. -
God I learned how to drive a truck in a cab over, going across the country without air, without a big sleeper, sometimes sleeping in the passenger seat, having to be very flexible to move around, I even had a chance to buy another a bunch of years back but can't bring myself want to abuse my body again like that.
If you are going to use it for fun, then great, but making money, you will get so tired so fast in one. -
Thanks, I think it more for the cool looks ... im like that with classic cars... but I guess I still be on the look.... just don't want to spend more then 20 for a first time truck.... not sure how long I want to be doing this and don't want a truck payment
