I had a friend years ago, who made a very good living. He bought a few years old hearse. Used it to pick up bodies at the airport, rented it and himself as the driver to funeral homes, etc.

Well a hearse or a Chevy Suburban I can see, but a regular gig of hauling bodies around in a semi outside of a pandemic just doesn't sound like a regular gig, or "dedicated" work.

Or is that what "FINAL MILE" delivery really means! :angel8:

Some that haul cadavers put them in the passenger seat of vehicles so they can use the HOV lane.

A few years ago, I hauled a load of bodies from NYC Coroners office to USC Medical in Los Angeles, Very well behaved load, no one complained about my driving at all. Hazardous, no. Refrigerated. Cold Meat is not a Health Hazard. Now that would have been a funny one to have hi-jacked

I'll bet most of these loads would unload to the ground because the receiver doesn't have a dock. That means the driver would end up using their pallet jack to get each one to the trailer tail.

Would they use a forklift or a pitchfork to unload?
