The Nation does not get a Revolution against itself when there is adequate morning coffee being brewed by the working class. Otherwise it's a form of "Bastille Day" that disposed of the monarchy.

One known health implication has to do with ground foods being adulterated more often, because you can't necessarily tell by looking at them. Grinding your own coffee would more likely get you the good stuff.

Leading Food Categories with Reported Cases of Food Fraud...

"Coffee and Tea. Ground coffee might be cut with leaves and twigs, as well as roasted corn, ground roasted barley, and roasted ground parchment. Instant coffee may include chicory, cereals, caramel, more parchment, starch, malt, and figs. Tea may contain leaves from other plants, color additives, and colored saw dust."

I'm pretty dang miserable without my coffee.

I've given it up for like 3 to 6 month periods to train.

That steady is dead wrong, cause some of the light roast at Starbucks is better than a hit of speed.

If you want the real FULL whammy. Put the coffee in a container with the water. Cold water. Let sit for like 6 hours. Strain of grounds.

Korean markets sell roasted corn for that, it's like drinking corn nuts (I can only guess)... :biggrin_2556:
